Bumbling around at the speed of Sound

When I hear the word “bumble” they tend to think of bumblebees. Despite that being a very odd name for them, it actually makes sense once after you put some thought behind the word “bumble”. Bumble means to “to proceed unsteadily”, or to stumble. Bumble might also originate from the word “bungle”. Bungle is a verb that means to, “carry out a task, clumsily or incompetently, leading to failure or an unsatisfactory outcome”. Bumblebees could get their name from the way they fly. Typically, they sway back and forth in the air constantly, as if they don’t know where they’re going. It appears as if they’re bumbling around, so to speak. The reason why they have some sort of difficulty flying is because small parasites tend to attach themselves to their body. Although this does not effect their health, it does throw their balance off and thus causing them to have an abnormal flight pattern.
